For once in my life
I thougt it could happen
I thought I could get to know you
could find a way to your heart
and finally fall in love
and maybe
if I was lucky
you would feel the same for me
but as usual
it didn't turned out as I wanted
I'm not good enough
she's prittier
more talented
and your eyes were fixed on her from the beginning
you never saw me standing in front of you
hoping to catch your smile
to look into your eyes
and see you looking back
I never had a chance
I lost
and the only thing I can do
is surrender
I can't change what I feel
what you feel
I can't change what happened
and maybe
I don't even want to anymore

Ik vind het einde het mooiste van het hele gedicht, het blijft in je hoofd hangen.

Het gaat heel diep, meteen naar mijn hart, en het raakt me als een kogel;
